- The LA Galaxy (11-4-15, 48 points) earned a 2-2 draw against Sporting Kansas City Sunday afternoon at Children's Mercy Park behind a goal each from Alan Gordon and Landon Donovan.

- With the result, the Galaxy are now in sole possession of second place in the Western Conference, four points off leader FC Dallas, with just four games remaining in the MLS Regular Season.

- This year on the road, the Galaxy are now 3-4-8, scoring 21 goals and allowing 20.

- The Galaxy's +17 goal differential this year is the best in MLS and their 32 goals allowed are second-fewest in the Western Conference.

- The Galaxy's 51 goals this season are the second most of any team in MLS. They are the most of any MLS Western Conference team.

- LA Galaxy Head Coach Bruce Arena's lineup featured two changes to the Starting XI from last Sunday's 4-2 win over Orlando: Jeff Larentowicz and Robbie Keane started in place of Rafael Garcia and Giovani dos Santos.

- LA Galaxy forward Alan Gordon scored his second-consecutive goal Sunday, bringing his total to two on the year.

- The goal marked Gordon's 51st career MLS goal. Gordon is one of 17 active players in MLS to have recorded 50 or more goals all time.

- Midfielder Emmanuel Boateng tallied his fifth assist of the season Sunday, bringing his total to two goals and five assists.

- Boateng has tallied a goal or assist in three consecutive games.

- LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan notched his first goal of 2016, marking his first goal in MLS since Sept. 28, 2014.

- Donovan now has 145 career goals, the most in MLS history.

- LA Galaxy captain Robbie Keane made his first start for the Galaxy since a match last month against New York City FC.

- The Galaxy were without Gyasi Zardes (foot) and Steven Gerrard (hamstring) Sunday.

- LA Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena has now recorded a 201-119-88 record all time in MLS play.

- In their next match, the Galaxy return to StubHub Center for a home match against Western Conference Seattle Sounders FC this Sunday, Sept. 25.
