Chicago Wolves News Release

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday that forward Keegan Kolesar and goaltender C.J. Motte have been added to the team's roster.

The 20-year-old Kolesar has been reassigned to Chicago from the Quad City Mallards (ECHL) by the Vegas Golden Knights and Motte signed a professional tryout contract with the club.

Motte skated with the Wolves as a training camp invitee prior to the start of the 2017-18 season. The 25-year-old backstopped Chicago for the third period during the team's preseason game against the Rockford IceHogs on Sept. 29. Motte made 15 saves and split time with rookie netminder Oscar Dansk.

This season, Motte has backstopped the ECHL's Quad City Mallards for two of three games and compiled a 0-2-0 record as well as an .907 save percentage and 3.53 goals-against average.

The 20-year-old Kolesar made his professional debut with the Wolves on Oct. 6 against the Texas Stars. After appearing with two games with Chicago, Kolesar was reassigned to Quad City on Oct. 9.

Through three ECHL games with the Mallards, Kolesar has collected a goal and two assists for three points.

Both players will be available when the Wolves continue 2017-18 game action on Saturday, Oct. 21, as the Tucson Roadrunners visit Allstate Arena for the first time since joining the American Hockey League in 2016. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on CW50.
