Rochester Knighthawks News Release

The 2012 World Champion Rochester Knighthawks have five selections in tonight's National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. Fans can follow the draft live from Toronto on NLL.com, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Tonight's draft will take place in the Westin's Metro East Room. Fans are welcome to attend the Draft free of charge.

Barring a trade, the Knighthawks will begin their portion of the draft in the third round as they select players 26th and 29th overall. In addition, Rochester has one pick in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.

Last year, the Knighthawks had three of the first 10 picks and selected Stephen Keogh second overall, Johnny Powless fifth and Joel White 10th.

"It makes it a little more interesting. I know the staff, Jody (Gage), Landon (Miller), Curt (Styres), Chris Driscoll and all those guys are working very hard at it right now and just try to predict, trying to see if our guys will be around for the hole we need to fill up," said Rochester Head Coach Mike Hasen.

The Knighthawks will hold open tryouts for the 2013 NLL season on Friday, October 26th and Saturday, October 27th at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Hagersville, Ontario.
