The Kitchener Rangers have selected Giovanni Vallati of the Vaughan Kings (GTHL) with their first round selection, (16th overall) in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection on Saturday.
The 6'0, 186lb defenceman from Ottawa, Ontario registered nine goals and 27 assists for 36 points with 56 penalty minutes in 64 games played in the 2015-16 season.
