Kitchener Rangers Announce Player Commitment from Eric Guest

The Kitchener Rangers announced today that forward Eric Guest has committed to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement with the club. Guest was the team's 3nd round pick (47th overall) in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.
The 5'9, 151lb Kilworth, Ontario native was drafted from the London Jr. Knights of ALLIANCE in April's draft. Guest registered 18 goals with 25 assists for 43 points and 36 penalty minutes in 33 games played in the 2015-16 regular season.
He was a member of Team ALLIANCE in the OHL Gold Cup in May, qualifying for the gold medal game of the tournament. He registered one goal and three points in five tournament games.
"Eric is a player we were thrilled to select in the third round of this year's draft," said Rangers general manager Murray Hiebert.
"He is an extremely talented player who utilizes his speed to generate plenty of offensive chances," Hiebert added. "Eric's enthusiasm at joining our club equals the excitement we have for him to join our Rangers family."
