Kings Assign Loktionov to Manchester

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have assigned forward Andrei Loktionov to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Loktionov, 20, has played in seven Kings games this season and has two points (1-12) and two penalty minutes. He scored his first NHL goal (which was also the game-winner) Oct. 20 vs. Carolina. Loktionov currently ranks eighth among NHL rookies with 3:04 average power play time-on-ice per game. The 5-foot-10, 180 pound native of Voskresensk, Russia was drafted by the Kings in the fifth round (123rd overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
