Kevan George Called in by T&T for Upcoming Qualifiers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Armada FC midfielder Kevan George has been called up to the Trinidad and Tobago national team for the squad's upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
George, who has played 1,608 minutes in 19 appearances in NASL with the Armada this season, will head off to train with the Soca Warriors on Sunday to prepare for their qualifier at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 2 at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Then on Tuesday, Sept. 6, he will return to Jacksonville for an important 8 p.m. ET showdown with the U.S. men's national team at EverBank Field. The Soca Warriors currently hold a three-point advantage in the Group C CONCACAF standings over the United States.
George has recorded 20 caps for the T&T national team and has received his first call-up since signing with the Armada in April. He will return to the Armada on Sept. 9.
