Kenny Brooks Among Three Storm Alumni to Sign Pro Deals in ECHL

Kearney, Neb. - Former Tri-City Storm players Kenny Brooks, Simon Denis and Bill Eiserman have signed contracts in the ECHL. The three were teammates on Tri-City in 2010-11.

Brooks has signed with the Atlanta Gladiators, the ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins. The 24-year-old forward played for the Storm from 2009-12 and captained Tri-City in 2011-12. Brooks skated for Penn State from 2012-16. He is the son of Storm owner Kirk Brooks.

Denis has inked with the Toledo Walleye, the Detroit Red Wings' ECHL affiliate. The defenseman is also 24 years old and played for the Storm in 2010-11. Denis spent 2011-16 with Ferris State University and started his pro career in 2016, playing three games for the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets.

Eiserman has signed with the Utah Grizzlies, affiliated with the Anaheim Ducks. After playing 54 games with the Storm in 2010-11, the defenseman played one full season at UMass-Lowell. Eiserman returned to the USHL in 2012-13 with the Chicago Steel and completed his NCAA eligibility at Bentley University from 2013-16.
