Kelowna Falcons News Release

The Falcons scored first and last on Sunday with a pair of runs in the top of the first inning. Lane Lacrone led the game off with a double, then scored on a balk call, before Max Carter drove in Bowen Ogata.

After the first inning, the Falcons bats were held in check by the Black Bears pitching staff. In all the offence scattered 10 hits.

Starter Jake Simmons was masterful on the bump, throwing nine innings allowing two runs on nine hits and walked two. He left with a no decision. The bullpen was outstanding as well no allowing a hit. Jared Morton recorded the win throwing a perfect 11th inning.
