Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Tri-City Americans 4-1 on Wednesday night south of the border in the Toyota Center.
The Rockets were dominant throughout peppering Tri-City netminder Rylan Parenteau with 45 shots while only allowing 21 on Michael Herringer.
Herringer improves to 12-8-0-0 on the season while the Rockets improve to 15-11-0-0.
Kelowna had two first period goals and a second period goal to take a commanding 3-0 lead into the third period.
Tri-City was able to strike once in the third but the Rockets added a late third period marker to finish off the Americans.
Kelowna had goals from Nolan Foote(4), Kole Lind(14), Jordan Borstmayer(3), and Tomas Soustal(12).
The Rockets are back in action on Saturday night when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings on Teddy Bear Toss night.
