Kade Scivicque and Joe Pankake Added to Florida State League All-Star Team

Lakeland, FL - Flying Tigers infielder Joe Pankake and catcher Kade Scivicque were added to the Florida State League (FSL) All-Star team today by League President Ken Carson. Pankake and Scivicque will join starting pitchers A.J. Ladwig and Tyler Alexander, relief pitcher Adam Ravenelle and outfielder Christin Stewart and represent the Flying Tigers at the 55th annual FSL All-Star Game. The game will take place at Hammond Stadium in Ft. Myers, home of the Ft. Myers Miracle, on Saturday, June 18 at 7:05 p.m. Catcher Grayson Greiner and relief pitcher Joe Jimenez were also selected but have been promoted to Double A Erie and will not participate in the game.

Pankake is currently tied for 5th in the league with 7 home runs and is also 5th in the league in HR/AB ratio, averaging 1 home run for every 25.57 at bats. He currently leads all FSL second basemen with a .995 fielding percentage, having committed only one error in 202 total chances. Pankake was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the seventh round of the June 2014 draft from the University of South Carolina.

Scivicque is currently hitting .267 with 18 runs scored, 47 hits and 22 rbi. His average leads all current Flying Tigers players and his hits ranks 3rd on the team. Scivicque was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the fourth round of the June 2015 draft from LSU where he was a first team All-American by D1Baseball.com and earned first team All-SEC honors.
