Jumbo Shrimp Announce Roster Move

PENSACOLA, Fla.* - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to tonight's game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Blue Wahoos Stadium at 7:35 p.m. ET.
Right-handed relief pitcher Tyler Bremer has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to April 19, with a right forearm contusion. Bremer is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in six relief appearances this season for the Jumbo Shrimp.
In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher Travis Ballew has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Ballew with the Hammerheads has no wins or losses and a 6.75 ERA in his four relief outings. Ballew has previously been with Jacksonville this season, working a scoreless inning of relief for the Jumbo Shrimp on April 10 at Mississippi.
The Jumbo Shrimp roster stands at 25 active players, including Miami Marlins shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria on his major league rehab assignment, and a revised roster is attached.
The Jumbo Shrimp and Blue Wahoos will continue their series with the fourth game of the five-game series on Thursday at 7:35 p.m. ET. Left-handed pitcher Mike Kickham (0-1, 3.60 ERA) will start for Jacksonville against Pensacola right-hander Deck McGuire (0-0, 1.80 ERA).
