June 30, 2016 - Atlantic League (AtL)
York Revolution News Release
(York, Pa.): This Monday, title sponsor York Traditions Bank and Eventive, the event planning and production division of the York Revolution, will host the biggest party of the summer - a free evening of family fun, great food and drinks, and one of the largest fireworks displays in the area. Thousands are expected as people from across the region make plans to celebrate the nation's 240th birthday in the home of the Revolution at the fourth annual July4York.
Gates at PeoplesBank Park will open at 5:30 p.m. for the Family Fun Festival presented by CGA Law Firm. A dozen inflatables, a tropical misting tree, face painters, balloon artists, hot food, cold drinks, and ice cream will fill the Brooks Robinson Plaza and the warning track, and the Stauffer's Playground will be open for kids as well.
At 6 p.m., July4York will turn into a family movie night as the ballpark's big screen presents a Hollywood blockbuster.
Live entertainment will take the spotlight at 8:30 p.m. as General Dynamics presents the revered Spring Garden Band and a playlist of musical Americana.
Finally, Glatfelter Insurance Group will present the American Town Fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
The ballpark concession stands will be open throughout July4York to offer hot dogs, burgers, and other ballpark fare, and a number of vendors will be on hand with their unique menu offerings, including Bricker's French Fries, Pretzel Twist, Kona Ice, Savory's Funnel Cakes, and Mad Dash Artisan Grilled Cheese. Domestic and craft brews will be for sale as well.
Admission is free. For details, visit www.July4York.com.
