Jr. Blues Fall to Ice Dogs

Jr. Blues fall to the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the first game of the weekend set by the score of 3-2.
After a scoreless first period, the Ice Dogs scored first in the second period to take a 1-0 lead. Erich Fear then found the back of the net on an unassisted goal to tie the game up at 1-1. Trevor Stone then scored to give the Jr. Blues a 2-1 lead. Fairbanks scored to tie it up at 2-2 at the end of the second period. The Ice Dogs then scored at the 17:28 mark in the third period to take the 3-2 lead, which would be the game's final score.
Tommy Nappier had 36 saves in the loss.
The same two teams will play again tomorrow night at 10:30 CST.
