(LANCASTER, CA) - The Lancaster JetHawks Annual Holiday Caravan will make its way around the Antelope Valley this F riday, December 11th. This year KaBoom and the JetHawks front office staff have scheduled stops throughout the Antelope Valley to spread cheer and give out gifts to help those needy families this holiday season.
The Holiday Cara van's first stop will be from 12:30-1:30 at the Lancaster Veterans Home. KaBoom and the staff will offer thanks to our local veterans for their dedication and the service they provided for our country. The JetHawks proudly host Military Sundays every Sunday during the season to show our appreciation for all our local current and former members of the armed forces. Â
The second stop will be from 2:00-3:00 at Antelope Valley Hospital Pe diatrics Ward.  KB and staff will be giving gifts and toys to children who may be spending the holidays in the hospital. Gifts were donated by the Lancaster JetHawks Booster Club and front office staff.
From there, the caravan will conclude at the City of Hope from 3:00-4:00 for their Pediatric Christmas Party. The City of Hope partnered with the JetHawks this year  for both Cancer Awareness Night, as well as the Home Run for Life promotion, where City of Hope patients had the opportunity to hit a ceremonial Home Run on the field during a JetHawks game.
"As we head in to our 20th year in the Antelope Valley, we are proud to continue this Holiday Caravan tradition," says JetHawks General Manager Will Tho rnhill, "To be able to bring a smile to the faces of our veterans and local children is such a privilege, and a true celebration of the holiday season."
KaBoom and the JetHawks staff will also be in the holiday spirit on Saturday, as they participate in the Palmdale Christmas parade on Saturday morning and then set up a display at the Magical Blvd Christmas in Downtown Lancaster on Saturday night.
