Jeff Kyrzakos Acquired In Trade From Stockton Thunder

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced on Monday that they have acquired forward Jeff Kyrzakos (Kir-ZAH-kohss) from the Stockton Thunder in exchange for future considerations.
A native of Mississiauga, Ont., Kyrzakos played two seasons of Major Junior hockey with the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League, scoring 36 goals and 50 assists in 92 games from 2004-06. The 6-2, 195-pound Kyrzakos turned professional with the Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL in 2006-07, scoring 11 goals and nine assists in 64 regular season games as a rookie and adding one goal in four Kelly Cup Playoff games. After appearing in 35 games, notching 25 points (11g, 14a) with Phoenix to begin last season, Kyrzakos was traded to Charlotte, where he scored 10 goals and 18 assists in 39 regular season games.
Kryzakos began the 2008-09 campaign with Charlotte, appearing in one game, earning an assist with the Checkers before being traded to the Stockton Thunder, where he scored four goals and five assists in 24 games.
