Jean Segura Rehab Assignment at Dickey-Stephens Park

Little Rock, AR - The Travelers announce Mariners Shortstop and former Arkansas Traveler, Jean Segura is set to appear for the Travelers this Friday through Sunday (April 21-23) in a Minor League Rehab Assignment at Dickey-Stephens Park. Segura will be testing his injured right hamstring during his time in Arkansas and will likely rejoin the Mariners on Tuesday in Detroit during their upcoming road trip.

In 2016 Segura batted .319 with 41 doubles, 20 home runs, 64 RBI and 33 stolen bases. This is not Segura's first time to play at Dickey-Stephens Park. He played for the Arkansas Travelers in 2012 appearing in 94 Games while batting .294. The Travs are looking forward to having the former player back at DSP and fans are sure to enjoy seeing the MLB star in a Travs uniform once again.
