Erie SeaWolves News Release
A night after being shut out, the SeaWolves returned the favor, taking down the Akron RubberDucks 1-0 on Saturday night at Canal Park.
The SeaWolves jumped ahead in the top of the fourth inning against RubberDucks starter Rob Kaminsky with the game's lone run. Wynton Bernard led off and clobbered a solo home run to left for a 1-0 lead. The home run for Bernard was his fourth of the season.
Myles Jaye was the story of the night for the SeaWolves. The Erie righty gave up a leadoff double in the first inning to Jordan Smith and would go on to retire 25 consecutive batters.
