The Janesville Jets and the North American Hockey League (NAHL) announced today the start time of the Saturday, January 5, 2013, Jets home game versus the Jamestown Ironmen will be moved up to 5 PM CST. The Janesville Ice Arena box office will open Saturday at 3:45 PM.
That game was originally scheduled to start at 7 PM. The Jets organization decided to move the time to accommodate fans desiring to also watch the Green Bay Packers playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings which now has been scheduled to start at 7 PM CST Saturday.
The starting time of the Janesville Jets Friday, January 4th home game will remain at 7 PM, with the box office opening Friday at 5:45 PM.
In 35 games played so far this season, the Janesville Jets have a record of 15 wins-14 losses-6 overtime losses for 36 total points. The Jets' two victories on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day in Port Huron against the Fighting Falcons vaulted the Jets into 5th place out of 8 teams in the NAHL North Division.
