Bakersfield Jam News Release
(Bakersfield, Calif. - February 2, 2010) - The Bakersfield Jam has announced the release of forward Rodney Webb, effective immediately.
Webb - a 6'7" forward out of Florida Atlantic University - played in 25 of the Jam's first 26 games, including 14 starts. He averaged 8.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 24.7 minutes per game, while shooting 44% from the field.
The move leaves Bakersfield with nine players on its roster, as it has not yet been announced who will fill Webb's spot. The Jam is in action on Tuesday night, playing host to the Los Angeles D-Fenders at the Jam Events Center.
