BAKERSFIELD - The Bakersfield Jam (6-4) were defeated by Tulsa 66ers (6-3) 114-98 Saturday night at the Dignity Health Event Center.

Down four points (26-22) at the end of the first period, Bakersfield struggled at both ends of the floor in the second period as their four point deficit stretched out to a 22 point deficit. In that second period, Bakersfield only shot 36.8% from the field, compared to Tulsa's 73.7%, resulting in a 66ers 62-40 lead at halftime. Bakersfield continued to struggle in the second half and momentum stayed in Tulsa's side. The defeat marks the Jam's first home loss this season (previously won all four home games to start the season).

Renaldo Major led the Jam with 16 points while Jerel McNeal added 14 points off the bench. Phoenix Suns assignee Kendall Marshall finished with 13 points and seven assists and Damion James tallied 11 points.

Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Jeremy Lamb had a game-high 26 points and dished out six assists for Tulsa. Hollis Thompson off the bench contributed 25 points and seven rebounds while Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Daniel Orton finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.

The Bakersfield Jam will stay in Bakersfield and play a two-game series against Idaho Stampede on Wednesday, December 19 and Thursday, December 20. Tip-off set at 7pm PT at the Dignity Health Event Center.
