Jacob Doty Reassigned to Mavericks

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Missouri Mavericks announced today that the St. Louis Blues have reassigned forward Jacob Doty to the Mavericks from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey Leauge. Additionally, forward Justin Selman has been reassigned to the Wolves by the Blues.

Doty, 23, is a third-year pro from Billings, Montana and has one assist and 17 penalty minutes in four games with the Wolves this season. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound forward has appeared in 71 games with the Wolves since turning pro in 2014 and has registered 15 points (6g, 9a) along with 202 penalty minutes and a +3 rating. Doty also played with the ECHL's Alaska Aces during his rookie season and posted 11 points (3g, 8a) and 94 penalty minutes in 49 games.

Prior to turning pro, Doty racked up 65 points (27g, 38a) and 476 penalty minutes over 270 games split between the Seattle Thunderbirds and Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League. He signed a three-year entry level contract with the Blues on September 26, 2013.

Selman has four points (2g, 2a) in eight games with the Mavericks this season. He has earned his second call up to Chicago where he has one goal in six games during his rookie season.
