The Elmira Jackals and the Reading Royals head to First Arena for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, with the opening face-off set for 7:05 p.m. The Jackals dropped the first two games of the series at the Sovereign Center by scores of 4-1 and 4-2. LAROCQUE RETURNS, COWICK IN LINEUP

Jackals captain and leading-scoring defenseman Mario Larocque returns for tonight's Game 3. He had missed the first two contests of the series serving a league-imposed suspension stemming from a penalty in the Jackals' regular-season finale in Wheeling on Mar. 31. Corey Cowick will also be in the lineup for tonight's contest, having been assigned to the club yesterday by Elmira's AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

HOME SWEET HOME

The Jackals went 5-2 against the Royals at home this season and were a club record 25-11-0-0 at First Arena in 2011-2012. Elmira won its most recent home playoff game, defeating the Greenville Road Warriors, 6-3, in Game 2 of the 2011 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Apr. 6, 2011. The Jackals are 5-8 at home in their history in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
