Jackals Players Move Up To AHL

The Elmira Jackals announced Tuesday the departure of three players to the American Hockey League. Forward Matt Lowry has been recalled by the Jackals AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, defenseman Jean-Francois David has been loaned to the Springfield Falcons, and forward Josh Aspenlind has been recalled by the Lake Erie Monsters.

This will be Lowry's third stint with Binghamton this season. Through four games with the B-Sens, he is scoreless with nine penalty minutes.

J.F. David will make his first ever appearance with Springfield. In 2006-2007, David posted 19 points (5g-14a) with Binghamton.

Aspenlind is under contract with Lake Erie and was loaned to the Jackals on Dec. 4. He scored his first goal of the season with the Jackals on Sunday to force overtime in Toledo.
