ELMIRA, N.Y. - October 13, 2012 - The Elmira Jackals continue their Opening Weekend festivities tonight as they host the Greenville Road Warriors at 7:05 p.m. at First Arena.

WHAT: Elmira Jackals Home Home Game #2. Commemorative 2011-12 division championship stickers and Jackals pocket schedules will be given away to all fans in attendance.
WHERE: First Arena - 155 N. Main St., Elmira, N.Y. 14901
WHEN: 7:05 p.m.
Tonight is the first of five scheduled meetings between the Jackals and Road Warriors this season. Two of those five games will be played at First Arena. The Jackals are 2-1-0 all-time against the Road Warriors and went 1-0-0 against them last season. Elmira won the lone game between the clubs last season 5-3 on February 22, 2012. Rob Bellamy had a pair of goals to pace the offence while Jordan Pietrus chipped in a goal and an assist. Greenville is coming off a 3-1 loss to the Trenton Titans in their season opener last night while the Jackals toppled Reading 3-2.
Tonight Elmira is playing it's second of six straight home games to open the season. It is tied with a stretch from November 16 to November 30 for the longest home stand of the season. With the win last night over Reading to open the season the Jackals have won seven of their last nine regular season games at First Arena. The win also marked the sixth straight season that the Jackals have won their home opener.
