Islanders Acquire Brisebois & Barter from Titan

Charlottetown Islanders General Manager Jim Hulton has confirmed a trade between the Charlottetown Islanders and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan during this weekend's Quebec Major Junior Hockey League draft.
The Islanders have acquired 19-year-old defenceman Guillaume Brisebois and 19-year-old defenceman Jake Barter from the Titan.
In return, the Titan receives defenceman Luc Deschenes, a second round pick in 2017 and a first round pick in 2018.
Brisebois is 6'2 and was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks and served as the Titan's captain this past season. The 19-year-old tallied 10 goals and 16 assists in the regular season. He also added two assists in five playoff games.
Barter is a Nova Scotia native who was dealt to the Titan last season after playing a season and a half with the Victoriaville Tigres. The 19-year-old had 2 goals and 8 assists in 33 games with the Tigres. With the Titan, he had 3 assists in 31 games.
