Iron Sign Four Including Former Badger Brandon Kelly
Brandon Kelly Brandon Kelly is a solid 6-foot-4, 255 pound Wisconsin Badger at heart, even though his hometown is Bedford, Ohio. Iron coach Gary Compton signed Kelly to a contract so the former Badger could continue his professional career in the same state where his college career ended. On Wisconsin!
Donnie Amadi Donnie Amadi would be playing in the AFL if it had played its 2009 season. The University of Kansas graduate played for the Green Bay Blizzard in 2008 recording 23 solo tackles and 29 total tackles. Coach Compton calls Amadi an outstanding player he's delighted to have on board.
Chris Acevedo Iron Head Coach Gary Compton was delighted when 6'5", 305 pound lineman Chris Acevedo decided to sign with the Iron. Acevedo was once considered the top offensive line prospect in Chicago. The Illinois native started all 13 games at left guard for the Northern Illinois University Huskies in 2006, but will need to go both ways when he makes his home at the Bradley Center.
Jerry Spencer Spencer was a staple on the Louisville Cardinal offensive line. He's gained significant af2 experience since his college days. He was a member of the Stockton Lightning and in 2007 he played for the ArenaCup champion Tulsa Talons.
