Iowa Barnstormers Linebacker Lamonté Gaddis

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed linebacker Lamonté Gaddis, Head Coach Joe Brannen announced today.
Gaddis (5-11, 210, Towson University) joins the Iowa Barnstormers after spending time in Poland playing football with the Gydnia Seahawks. Prior to his professional career, Gaddis played collegiately for Towson University after transferring from Dean Junior College
Gaddis was a two-year starter at middle linebacker for the Towson University Tigers where he served as team captain during his senior year. As a senior, Gaddis finished second on the team with 124 tackles, 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 forced fumble. The all-star linebacker earned several honors throughout his collegiate career including 2nd Team All-CAA (2012 and 2013) and Pre-Season All-CAA team (2013).
"We are excited to welcome Monté to Des Moines. He is an extremely versatile player that will make an impact on our defense and special teams," said Coach Brannen "Monté plays the game the right away and I can't wait to see him on the field with us this spring."
