Iowa announces two exhibition games

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars President John Pettit today announced dates for two of the Iowa Stars exhibition games for the 2006-2007 American Hockey League (AHL) season.

The Stars will kick-off their exhibition game schedule with a tilt in Peoria, Illinois on Tuesday, September 26th against West Division rivals, the Peoria Rivermen. Iowa will then host their first exhibition game of the 2006-07 season at home on Friday, September 29th when the Stars and Rivermen face-off again. Game time for the Wells Fargo Arena game is slated for 7:05 PM.

The Stars expect to learn their full Regular Season Schedule from the AHL League Offices in Springfield, Massachusetts in the next few weeks. Stay tuned to IowaStarsHockey.com for all the news.
