June 5, 2013 - Eastern League (EL1)
Trenton Thunder News Release

The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced Wednesday that INF Walter Ibarra and RHP Matt Daley have been promoted to Triple-A Scranton. RHP Caleb Cotham has been transferred back to the team from Scranton and OF Shane Brown has been activated from the team's disabled list.

Ibarra reaches the Triple-A level for the first time in his eight-year minor league career. He was batting .312 in 20 games with the Thunder this season, and had an 11-game hitting streak snapped last night at Binghamton.

Daley, 30, made 10 appearances with Trenton in his month playing with the squad. The righty went 3-0 with a 1.00 ERA, allowing only one run and five hits in nine innings pitched. He struck out 11 batters in those nine innings.

Cotham made six starts earlier this season with the Thunder, going 1-1 with a 3.96 ERA in 25 innings pitched. In six appearances with Scranton, the righty went 2-3 with a 7.58 ERA.
