INF Billy Fleming Returns Home to Thunder

The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, have one roster move to announce prior to Monday's ballgame against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats:
Add: INF Billy Fleming from High-A Tampa (No. 15)
Fleming, a native of Churchville,PA, grew up roughly 15 miles from ARM & HAMMER Park and made his Trenton Thunder debut last August. In 14 games last season with the Thunder, Fleming batted 9-for-36 (.250 AVG) with 5 2B and a 3B (.444 SLG).
This season in Tampa, Fleming hit safely in 30-of-38 games with the T-Yanks. His .329 AVG ranks 3rd in the Florida State League at the time of the promotion along with being Top-5 in the league with 27 RBI (T-3rd), 13 2B (2nd), .395 OBP (5th) and .479 SLG (4th).
The move puts the Thunder active roster at the Eastern League maximum of 25 players after playing most of the weekend in Reading one under the league maximum.
