Reading Fightin Phils News Release

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Phillies, the Double-A affiliate of the 2010 National League East champion Philadelphia Phillies, are pleased to announce that individual game ticket prices for the 2011 season will remain the same for a third-straight year -- even with the incredible $10 million renovations to FirstEnergy Stadium.

"America's Classic Ballpark is getting even better," said R-Phils GM Scott Hunsicker. "Even with the $10 million renovation, we feel it is important to stand firmly behind affordable family entertainment by offering game tickets at the same low price as last year, and the year before. The 2011 season is one of the most-anticipated seasons in the history of the Reading Phillies, and we are glad to be able to bring our fans affordable family fun. Many people have asked me if we are going to raise ticket prices to cover the costs of the renovation - the answer is NO!"

Individual game tickets for the 2011 season, presented by Pepsi, start as low as just $6 for children and senior citizens. All individual game ticket pricing can be found below, as well as on readingphillies.com. Fans can also add the all-you-can-eat deck buffet to any ticket for just $12.

The 2011 season marks the 45th season of affiliation between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Reading Phillies -- the longest affiliation in all of baseball. To celebrate this affiliation, the Reading Phillies are offering their season ticket holders something new for 2011 -- the opportunity to purchase Philadelphia Phillies individual game tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Reading Phillies fans will have the chance to not only enjoy baseball here in Reading, but also in Philadelphia.

"We are really happy to be able to offer fans the opportunity to buy Philadelphia Phillies tickets," added R-Phils Director of Ticket Sales Mike Becker. "Thanks to our great partnership with the Phillies, we are fortunate to be able to offer our great fans the opportunity to see a game at beautiful Citizen's Bank Park."

Also new for 2011, season ticket holders will be admitted through the brand new Season Ticket Holder gate ten minutes early for all 71 home games. The ten minute early admittance will give season ticket holders the chance to be the first ones in the brand-new VIST Financial Plaza, as well as first to get their giveaways. All season ticket holders will also receive a FREE Reading Phillies Ultimate Seat Cushion, and an invite to two very special Season Ticket Holder VIP Sessions. Any R-Phils ticket plan of 22 games or more constitutes a season ticket.

Reading Phillies season tickets also include on-command tickets, which give fans a chance to redeem yellow box tickets in any quantity, allowing fans the ultimate flexibility. There are two great on-command options for all fans to enjoy. One option for fans, is the chance to purchase 100 on-command yellow box seats for $900, while the other includes 50 on-command yellow box seats for $500. The 100 ticket option includes season ticket benefits, while the 50 ticket option includes mini-plan benefits.

The Reading Phillies are also offering outstanding incentives for Mini-Plan holders, which include significant discounts on regular ticket prices (11 games or more), as well as a free exclusive gift - the same FREE Reading Phillies Ultimate Seat Cushion that the season ticket holders receive. There are three ways to become a mini-plan holder, all of which guarantee the best seats before they go on-sale to the general public: 11 Games, 6 Games, or 50 on-command Tickets.
