Indians To Honor Medical Professionals

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians are pleased to announce that individuals demonstrating exceptional service and dedication to the medical field will be honored prior to the June 11th game versus Pawtucket.
During Medical Professionals' Night, the Indians front office will recognize individuals working in the medical field for outstanding service and commitment to their profession. Start time of the contest is at 7:15 p.m. with the ceremony and plaque presentation beginning shortly before 7 p.m.
Honorees for the award are selected through a nomination process. All nominees must meet three criterion for acceptance: the individual must work in the medical field, must have shown a continual commitment to the medical field by having provided the highest level of care for patients and must have a minimum of three years of service in the medical field. Also, the nominator must work at the same facility as the nominee.
The deadline for nominations is March 30, 2010. Nominators of selected nominees will be contacted no later than April 9, 2010.
