INDIANAPOLIS -- In what could be a preview of the first round of the International League playoffs, the Indianapolis Indians begin a four-game series with the Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, on Monday night at Victory Field. While the IL West-leading Indians have the best record in the league at 71-45, the IL-South leading Knights boast the second-best mark, six games behind at 65-51.
Monday, August 6 vs. Charlotte 7:05 p.m. Presented by Snyder's-Lance, Marsh Supermarkets, My 107.9, Energizing Indiana: Monday Dollar Menu -- Ballpark favorites such as hot dogs, peanuts and boxes of popcorn can be purchased for just $1 each.
Tuesday, August 7 vs. Charlotte 7:05 p.m. Presented by McAlister's Deli, WJJK: Two-for-One Tuesday -- Get two tickets for the price of one by picking up a voucher at participating area McAlister's Deli restaraunts. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Victory Field box office. Additionally, for one night only members of the Indianapolis Children's Museum who show their membership at the box office will receive two-for-one admission.
Wednesday, August 8 vs. Charlotte 1:05 p.m. Business Day Game -- Take an extended lunch break and cheer on your Indians in the final Wednesday afternoon matinee of the 2012 season.
Thursday, August 9 vs. Charlotte 7:05 p.m. Presented by Pepsi, 97.1 Hank FM, Indiana Blood Center: Pepsi Thursday Value Night -- Special value packages include a game ticket, T-shirt, hot dog and unlimited soda and are available in advance of the game for just $16 for a reserved seat and $20 for a box seat. Diamond Dig -- Presented by Indiana 811, Citizens Energy Group and Shane Co., selected fans will compete in a post-game, buried treasure-style hunt for a 1 ct. Shane Co. diamond.
After the Tribe wraps up their series with the Knights, Indianapolis heads out for a 12-day roadtrip to Columbus, Rochester and Syracuse. The Indians will return home for a six day homestand with Louisville and Columbus starting with a 7:05 p.m. contest on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
