"We're excited to be joining the PASL-Pro. The St. Louis metropolitan area is a great soccer community, and they deserve to have a top level indoor soccer team. I grew up around the Steamers and other franchises that have played in St. Louis. It taught me alot about the game and the business. That's where my passion for the game comes from. I look forward to bringing that kind of energy back to our fans."

Illinois Piasa will play in the new Pro Frontier Division of the Professional Arena Soccer League, which will consist of expansion teams and teams lacking natural geographic rivals. The Pro Frontier Division will join the Eastern and Western divisions in what will be a three-division alignment for the PASL-Pro's third season. Pro Frontier teams will play a 12-game schedule, while the other divisions will still play a full 16 games. Pro Frontier teams will be evaluated by the league throughout the season with the expectation of becoming a fully vested league member for the 2011/12 season.

The official website will launch at www.illinoispiasa.com in the near future.
