Rockford IceHogs News Release

Rockford, Ill.- One lucky fan will leave Thursday's game between the Rockford IceHogs and Iowa Chops with a set of tickets to the hottest NHL game in the nation.

The Rockford IceHogs will be giving away one set of Winter Classic tickets during Thursday's game at the Rockford MetroCentre. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. All adults (18 or older) in attendance at the MetroCentre on Thursday night will be eligible to enter to win and the winner will be announced during the game.

The 2009 Winter Classic, an outdoor game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings, will be played on New Year's Day at historic Wrigley Field. The event has quickly become one of the hardest tickets to get this year in Chicago.

In addition to the Winter Classic tickets, the IceHogs will also be giving away three sets of Chicago Blackhawks tickets to an upcoming game at the United Center and tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters event on Dec. 28 at the Rockford MetroCentre.
