IceHogs Reassign Walters to Walleye

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, announced that they have reassigned right wing Dane Walters to the Toledo Walleye (ECHL).

Walters, 26, has played in a total of 15 games with the IceHogs this season, notching one goal. The St. Paul, Minn. native has also totaled two goals and two assists through 11 games with the Walleye.

Last season, Walters notched one goal and five assists in 19 games with Rockford. Prior to joining the IceHogs in 2014-15, the winger tallied 17 points (9g-8a) in 27 games with the Walleye.

Next Home Game: Sunday, Feb. 14 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins at 4 p.m. Rockford faces off against Grand Rapids again on Valentine's Day. The meeting will round up a set of three contests between the two squads in 10 nights.
