IceGators Release Pair; Bring in Burton, Lumacchia

Louisiana IceGators Head Coach Drew Omicioli has made some changes prior to this weekend's road games against the Macon Mayhem and the Huntsville Havoc.
Forward David Gandara and forward Darius Cole have been released. Defenseman Tanner Burton, who played in 47 games for the IceGators between the 13-14 and 14-15 seasons, has returned after playing 23 games with the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) this season.
Also, joining your Gators is forward Massimo Lumacchia. Lumacchia, a native of Maple, Ontario, played with Brown University before beginning his pro career this season. There he played in 113 games, posting 16 goals and 26 assist over four seasons. During his rookie season(2015-2016) Massimo has played in 18 games between the Manchester Monarchs and the Wheeling Nailers.
You can watch your IceGators live on sphllive.com, this Friday and Saturday, when they take on the Macon Mayhem (Friday, 6:30pm) and Huntsville Havoc (Saturday 7:30pm).
