Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release


11/19/05 > Long Beach 1 @ Bakersfield 2 (SO)

The Ice Dogs fell to the Bakersfield Condors Saturday night, extending their winless streak to three games (0-2-1). The Condors scored the first goal just 30 seconds into the game, before Sean McAslan answered back for Long Beach at 2:05 of the third period. Bakersfield prevailed in the shootout after a scoreless overtime period. Playing in his first game since being reassigned by Hamilton, Olivier Michaud was solid in net for Long Beach making 33 saves despite being credited with the shootout loss.

11/22/05 > Long Beach @ Bakersfield

The Ice Dogs will have a chance at revenge Tuesday when they take on the Bakersfield Condors again. The team will be looking to end a three game winless streak and regain sole possession of second place in the Pacific Division.

11/25/05 > Long Beach @ San Diego

Friday night the Ice Dogs will travel to San Diego for the first time this season and will be looking to build on their 5-0 drubbing of the San Diego Gulls back on November 2nd in Long Beach. Last season the Ice Dogs went 1-2-1 in San Diego.

11/26/05 > Long Beach @ Phoenix

The Ice Dogs will finish up the final game of a four game road trip at Phoenix Saturday night. The Ice Dogs hold a record of 2-0-0 against the Roadrunners this season, with both wins coming in a shootout on the road.

11/27/05 > Long Beach vs. Victoria

The Ice Dogs welcome the Victoria Salmon Kings into town on Sunday and hope to continue their dominance they enjoyed last season, going a perfect 10-0-0. The Stanley Cup will be at the game for fans to take pictures with.
