Ice Bears Postpone Game
January 21, 2016 - SPHL (SPHL) - Knoxville Ice Bears News Release
Knoxville, TN - The Knoxville Ice Bears have been forced to postpone the game on Friday, January 22, 2016 vs the Fayetteville FireAntz due to the impending weather conditions sweeping through East Tennessee.
The rescheduled date has yet to be determined but will announced within the next few days. Tickets for the January 22nd game will be good for the future date when it is released.
"Based upon the reports of the incoming weather, we feel it is in the best interest of our players, fans, corporate partners and Fayetteville's players that we postpone the tomorrow's game to ensure the safety of our entire Ice Bears family," said President and General Manager Mike Murray. "We plan to have a new date released very soon."
The Ice Bears will travel to Huntsville to take on the Havoc on Saturday, January 23 at 8:30 EST. This game can be viewed on www.sphllive.com on pay-per-view or join Ice Bears fans at Casual Pint Northshore for a few free viewing. Ice Bears return to home action on Friday, January 29 at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum for Scout Night/Friends and Family Night - for tickets and information visit www.knoxvilleicebears.com or call 865-525-7825.
