Kootenay Ice News Release

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, in collaboration with Al Dyck and his team at AC Dyck Financial Services, is excited to announce details about the $180,000 Shoot-to-Win Contest.

The contest will take place during nine intermissions at ICE home games throughout the 2018-19 regular season. During each intermission, two contestants will be chosen in-game and have the opportunity to shoot one puck from the far blue line.

The grand prize is $10,000! To win, the contestant must successfully shoot the puck through the center slot on the game board attached to the net. No matter the result of the first contestant, the second shooter will have an opportunity at the grand prize, making it possible that $20,000 could be won on one night ($10,000 per contestant).

The first installment of the AC Dyck Financial Services $180,000 Shoot-to-Win Contest will take place during the second intermission on Friday, September 28.

If you are interested in competing in the contest, go to the ICE tent located on the concourse at Western Financial Place during the game.

"This is an extremely exciting opportunity for us at AC Dyck Financial Services," explained Al Dyck. "We look forward to seeing all the contestants participate in the Shoot-to-Win, with the opportunity to walk away with thousands of dollars."

"We are always excited when a Corporate Partner increases the fan experience through contests, community and promotion," explained Leah Watkins, Director, Business Operations and Fan Experience with the ICE. "We believe this Shoot-to-Win contest is going to garner a lot of attention and fans will be anxious to compete in this incredible opportunity."
