Chicago Wolves News Release

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that forward Tomas Hyka has been recalled from loan by the Vegas Golden Knights.

The 24-year-old skated in three games with Chicago last week and earned five points (3G, 2A), including the game-winning goal in Saturday's 6-3 victory against the Iowa Wild at Allstate Arena.

His four-point (2G, 2A) performance on Dec. 15 against the Grand Rapids Griffins was the first of his North American professional career.

Hyka began the season with seven points (3G, 4A) through the Wolves' first eight contests and was top three in team scoring. Overall, he owns six goals and six assists for 12 points through 16 games with Chicago. Hyka also stands fifth on the team in goals and sixth in points.

Since Nov. 12, the Czech Republic native has appeared in just four of the Wolves' last 16 contests as he battled injuries.

The Wolves get back to game action on Thursday, Dec. 21, in a School Day contest against the Grand Rapids Griffins. Puck drop is slated for 11 a.m. and the game will stream on AHLLive.com .
