Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team has agreed to terms with left wing Adam Huxley and right wing Nick Anderson.

"Adam was a big fan favorite here last year and I am sure the fans will be happy to have him back in the Arena", said Wranglers General Manager / Head Coach Glen Gulutzan. "He plays hard every night and is a thorn in the side of our opponents on a regular basis. Nick Anderson came to us late last season after finishing his college career at UMD. He impressed us with his work ethic and his ability to grind it out in the corners. We are happy to have both players back with us again this year."

Adam Huxley returns for his second season with the Wranglers after playing his rookie season in Las Vegas. Huxley played in 55 games with seven goals and eight assists for 15 points. He also set the Wranglers team record with 294 penalty minutes, breaking the previous record by 80. Huxley recently attended training camp with the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves. The 21-year old left wing played four seasons in the Western Hockey League for Saskatoon and Seattle, amassing 621 penalty minutes in 197 games played.

Anderson completed his college career at the University of Minnesota Duluth last March after playing in 136 games. For his NCAA career, the 26-year old right wing scored 30 goals and added 23 assists for 53 points, as well as racking up 137 penalty minutes.

The Wranglers now have 21 players on their roster. Huxley and Anderson join goalie Marc Magliarditi, defensemen Mike McBain, Christian Chartier, Tim Hambly, Lee Green, Tyler Sloan and Scott Schoneck. Also signed are forwards Chris Stanley, Dan Tudin, Dustin Johner, Darren Lynch, Chris Neiszner, Dana Lattery, Evan Schwabe, Thomas Bellemare, Shawn Limpright, Marco Peluso, Jordan Cameron and Todd Alexander.
