The Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies' NBA G League affiliate, today announced that the team has waived forward Trahson Burrell. The Hustle acquired Burrell's returning player rights in a trade with the Long Island Nets on October 19.
Burrell (6-7, 190), a University of Memphis product, appeared in 32 games (22 starts) this season for the Hustle and averaged 13.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.53 steals in 33.1 minutes per game.
