HRH of Central California to Present Face-Off Against Kids Cancer

October 25, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL) - Fresno Falcons News Release

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that HRH Insurance has been named the presenting sponsor of the 2007-08 Face-Off Against Kids Cancer program.

Initiated last season by head coach Matt Thomas and assistant coach Ryan Mougenel, Face-Off Against Kids Cancer pairs Falcons' players with local pediatric cancer patients. Participants in the program get to meet the players in the locker room following games, attend events in the community, and have private meet-and-greet sessions with the players.

"We are excited that HRH Insurance has come on board to help with the second season of our cancer program," Thomas said. "Two organizations such as ours are committed to making a difference in our local community, and this program does exactly that."

"We are proud to continue the spirit of 'giving back to our community' by joining the Fresno Falcons to sponsor the Face-Off Against Kids Cancer Program," said Guy Newman, president of HRH of Central California Insurance Services. "I believe that working together with Fresno Falcons, and others in the community, we can accomplish great things!"

The first event of the 2007-08 season is set for tonight at Hobbs Grove. Located in Sanger, Hobbs Grove is the ultimate Halloween experience, with a haunted hayride, haunted house, and haunted forest.

The Falcons return to the ice on Friday, hosting the Alaska Aces at 7:30 p.m. The first 2,000 fans in attendance receive a 2007-08 Falcons Schedule Poster courtesy of Dumont Printing and Mega 97.9.

Tickets for all Falcons home games can be purchased at the Save Mart Center Box Office, or through TicketMaster at (559) 485-8497 or www.ticketmaster.com. All Falcons' games are broadcast on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, starting 15 minutes prior to face-off with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show.
