Houston Aeros Recall Josh Caron from Orlando

Houston, TX - Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill announced on Saturday the team has recalled forward Josh Caron from the Orlando Solar Bears, the Aeros ECHL affiliate.

The 21-year old rookie attended training camp with the Aeros prior to his assignment to Orlando on Oct. 11. In 14 games with the Solar Bears, Caron scored his first pro goal and added his first pro assist for two points. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder also racked up 28 penalty minutes with Orlando. He spent the last five years playing in the WHL with Kamloops and Everett. In all, the Campbell River, BC native scored three goals and added 19 assists for 22 points. He also amassed 446 penalty minutes.

The Aeros will host the Rockford IceHogs at the Xcel Energy Center, home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild, on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 5:05 p.m. Prior to returning to home ice, the Aeros will play in San Antonio on Friday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Houston will host the Abbotsford Heat on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 5:05 p.m. This season every Sunday is a Family Day, where families can purchase a package with parking, four tickets and four Aeros gifts, starting at $54.

Aeros season tickets start as low as $9 per seat and may be purchased online at Aeros.com by placing a $100 deposit.
