Hounds Sign Sponsorship Deal with Legion Brewing for 2017
Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte Lacrosse, LLC announced today that Legion Brewing has signed on as an Official Beer Partner of the Charlotte Hounds. Elements of the partnership include signage, fan engagement, promotions, events, print and social media, a Hounds-inspired beer and designation as the Official Beer of the Royal Legion of the Hound, the loud and proud fan supporters group. Legion Brewing will also have the opportunity to host some away game watch parties and team events during the 2017 season.
"We are excited to welcome Legion Brewing to the Team. It's a perfect fit - great name and close proximity to American Legion Memorial Stadium," said Wade Leaphart, Hounds' Vice President. "We love partnering with local businesses and are happy to have Legion join the team alongside Queen City Q, Hawthorne's Pizza and the all of our other great sponsors."
"All of us at Legion Brewing are thrilled to enter into a relationship with the Charlotte Hounds," exclaimed Phil Buchy, co-owner of Legion Brewing Company. "An important part of our mantra is to support all things local whenever we have the opportunity to do so. This extends to sourcing local brewing ingredients, supporting local businesses, and now with this relationship, a Charlotte professional sports team. When I hear the names, 'Legion Brewing' and ' Royal Legion of the Hound' - it sounds like a perfect match!"
"It is great to have a front office who thinks of the supporters while working with sponsors," said Michael Harrison, Leader of the Royal Legion of the Hound. "It will be awesome to partner with Legion Brewing. We are excited for the 2017 season and what the Hounds and Legion Brewing relationship will bring!"
