Clinton LumberKings News Release

CLINTON, IA- The Clinton LumberKings are excited to announce Joe Bohringer as the guest speaker for this year's Hot Stove Banquet on January 30th at Eagle Point Park Lodge. Bohringer, in his 27th year of professional baseball, serves as a Special Assistant to Seattle Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto.

Bohringer's life in baseball has included time with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, and Seattle Mariners. A graduate of MIT, Bohringer began his career in baseball on the business side of the game before moving into scouting and player development. Bohringer was the Director of Pro Scouting for the Chicago Cubs from 2011-2015. During his time in Chicago, he worked to acquire players such as Addison Russel that became key components in this year's Cubs World Series run.
