Hot Rods Front Office Recognizes Two Promotions, Two New Hires

Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, announce the promotion of two staff members and the hiring of two new front office staffers. Mike Mariano has been named the team's new Director of Ticket Sales, and Greg Heroy has been promoted to Box Office Manager. The Hot Rods welcome Kelci Harris and Adrian Thomas to the front office as Account Executive and Community Relations/Merchandise Assistant, respectively.

Mariano returns for his second season in Bowling Green after spending the previous four years in Minor League Hockey. As the Director of Ticket Sales, Mariano oversees the day-to-day operations of season, group, and Mini-Plan ticket package sales. The Connecticut native has also spent time in the front office of the Eastern League's New Britain Rock Cats.

Heroy has been with the Hot Rods since 2011 and has been named the new Box Office Manager. A native of New Jersey, Heroy began his Minor League Baseball career with his home-state Lakewood BlueClaws of the South Atlantic League in 2010.

Harris joins the Hot Rods staff as a full-time Account Executive and will work with local fans, companies, and community organizations to create memorable experiences at Bowling Green Ballpark. Harris started her Minor League Baseball career with the California League's Inland Empire 66ers in 2012. Originally from Chino Hills, California, she attended the University of California, Riverside.

During the 2013 season, Thomas will coordinate Hot Rods mascot appearances around the South Central Kentucky region as well as assist in the Hot Rods team store, The Body Shop. The Jackson, Tennessee, native is a graduate of Austin Peay State University and worked with the Jackson Generals in 2012.
