Calgary, AB - Calgary Hitmen General Manager Kelly Kisio announced today the acquisition of 18-year-old left winger Kris Foucault (FOO-coe) from the Kootenay Ice in exchange for 18-year-old right winger Ryan Fox.

"Kris is a skilled forward who has excelled in the AJHL and will add more depth to our line-up," said Kisio. "We would like to thank Ryan Fox for his dedication to our program. He's a fine young man and we wish him continued success in Kootenay."

Foucault, who played his minor hockey in Calgary, was drafted in the fifth round (85th overall) of the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft by the Swift Current Broncos.
